El aprovechamiento de las tecnologías para el aprendizaje de inglés en la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas

Abstract

The use of technologies for language learning has changed its focus in correspondence with the evolution of these concepts, the growing social demands, and technological development. The systematization of the referents of the use of technologies and the teaching–learning of English contributed to identifying the technological resources as part of a conception of use of the Personal Learning Environment framework. The results achieved show the pertinence of the conditions related to the complementarity of virtual and physical spaces and the unity in the diversity of technological resources, in correspondence with the needs, motivations, and interests of the student–users. The technological resources and learning activities defined in previous research are updated. The analysis of the information obtained and the evaluations made, provide a structure in stages and steps that constitute a way for the direction and organization of the English teaching–learning process.
