El proceso Docente-Educativo en la No Presencialidad en la Facultad de Tecnologías Educativas

Abstract

En el año 2019 se produjo en el mundo un hecho sin precedentes, el cierre universal de instalaciones educativas presenciales provocado por la COVID-19. Durante este tiempo en Cuba el MES junto al país han tomado un grupo de decisiones para favorecer la Educación a Distancia (EAD). La Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas (UCI) es una de las instituciones de la Educación Superior en Cuba que ha apostado por el empleo de esta modalidad de desarrollo del proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje. En este tiempo de la COVID-19 la UCI extendió la EAD al pregrado. La Facultad de Tecnologías Educativas (FTE) es una de las seis facultades de la UCI, esta Facultad asume como es lógico el reto de la No Presencialidad ante la situación sanitaria que enfrenta el país producto a la pandemia. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo caracterizar el proceso Docente-Educativo en la No presencialidad en la FTE. Para dar cumplimiento al objetivo de este trabajo se empleó una metodología cualitativa basada en el análisis teórico de diferentes investigaciones que abordan el tema de la No Presencialidad en forma virtual. Se empleó el método de análisis-síntesis para identificar los elementos esenciales a partir de la revisión crítica en variadas fuentes. Se utilizaron también métodos empíricos como la observación y técnicas como la encuesta y la entrevista.

The year 2019 saw an unprecedented event in the world, the universal closure of face-to-face educational facilities caused by COVID-19. During this time in Cuba the MES together with the country have taken a group of decisions to favor Distance Education (DE). The University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) is one of the institutions of Higher Education in Cuba that has bet on the use of Distance Education. During the COVID-19 period, UCI extended Distance Education to the undergraduate level. The Faculty of Educational Technologies (FTE) is one of the six faculties of the UCI, this Faculty logically assumes the challenge of distance education in view of the health situation faced by the country as a result of the pandemic. The objective of this research is to characterize the teaching-educational process in the non-attendance at the FTE. In order to fulfill the objective of this work, a qualitative methodology was used based on the theoretical analysis of different researches that deal with the topic of Non-presence in a virtual way. The analysis-synthesis method was used to identify the essential elements from the critical review of various sources. Empirical methods such as observation and techniques such as survey and interview were also used.
