Software educativo para el trastorno del lenguaje en edades tempranas

Abstract

El retraso del lenguaje es un trastorno que repercute negativamente en el desarrollo del niño, por lo que su corrección desde edades tempranas constituye un imperativo, para garantizar un desarrollo integral. Estos trastornos en múltiples ocasiones se presentan asociadas a otras necesidades educativas especiales o pueden generarlas. La necesidad de prevenir los mismos en los niños que cursan el grado preescolar en las escuelas especiales, se convirtió en el punto de partida de este trabajo cuyo objetivo lo constituyó la elaboración del Software educativo “Jugando con la imaginación”, pensado y diseñado para los niños en edad prescolar de las escuelas especiales con problemas del lenguaje. En la investigación se emplearon diferentes métodos y técnicas de investigación, así como métodos del nivel teórico, empírico, estadístico, mediante los cuales se pudo constatar la necesidad de la realización del software. Esta investigación tiene gran importancia porque se logra como aporte práctico la elaboración de un producto informático que en manos de maestros y logopedas constituye una herramienta educativa para ayudar a facilitar la comunicación de aquellos niños, que debido a algún tipo de deficiencia presentan dificultades para comunicarse con su entorno y adaptarse al medio social en el que viven. El uso de estas tecnologías de ayuda posibilitará una mejor calidad de vida para estos infantes, favoreciendo una mayor autonomía personal y posibilitando la integración familiar y social

Language delay is a disorder that negatively affects the development of the child, so its correction from an early age is imperative to ensure comprehensive development. These disorders on multiple occasions are associated with other special educational needs or can generate them. The need to prevent them in children who attend the preschool grade in special schools, became the starting point of this work whose objective was the elaboration of the educational Software "Playing with the imagination", thought and designed for children of preschool age from special schools with language problems. In the investigation, different research methods and techniques were used, as well as methods of the theoretical, empirical, statistical level, through which the need for the realization of the software could be verified. This research is of great importance because it is achieved as a practical contribution the elaboration of a computer product that in the hands of teachers and speech therapists constitutes an educational tool to help facilitate the communication of those children, who due to some type of deficiency present difficulties to communicate with others their environment and adapt to the social environment in which they live. The use of these assistive technologies will enable a better quality of life for these infants, favoring greater personal autonomy and facilitating family and social integration.
