Sistema de gestión de asistencia y evaluación

Abstract

Con el desarrollo informático que se está realizando en Cuba, la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas (UCI) se ha visto en la tarea de informatizar los procesos que se llevan a cabo en la institución. Actualmente, en la UCI existe una aplicación informática que controla la asistencia y la evaluación de los estudiantes, aunque la misma brinda varias funcionalidades; el control de asistencia a las actividades otorgadas y las evaluaciones de los profesores de los departamentos de la Práctica Profesional (PP) se realiza de forma manual. Debido a la situación anteriormente planteada, se realiza la presente investigación con el fin de implementar un software que permita gestionar el control de asistencia y evaluación de los estudiantes y profesores en los departamentos de PP, favoreciendo en el tiempo, organización de la información y apoyo a la toma de decisiones durante dicho proceso. El presente trabajo de diploma muestra las principales herramientas y tecnologías que sustentan la implementación de una aplicación que permita el control de la asistencia y la evaluación de los estudiantes y profesores, así como dar a conocer su estructura, principales características y su funcionamiento en general. Para comprobar el buen funcionamiento y la calidad de la aplicación web a desarrollar se le realizaron prueba de software como son: caja negra, aceptación del cliente, pruebas de desempeño y verificación de la calidad del software.

With the computerized development that is taking place in Cuba, the University of Informatics Science has been in the task of computerizing the processes that are carried out in the institution. At present, in this university, there is a computer application that controls the attendance and evaluation of students, although this application bridges several functionalities; the control of attendance to the activities granted and of the evaluations of the professors of the departments of the Professional Practice (PP) is carried out manually. Due to the above situation, the present investigation is carried out in order to implement a software that allows to manage the attendance and evaluation of the students and professors in the departments of PP, in order to favor in time, organization of the information and support to the decision making during this process. the present diploma work shows the main tools and technologies that support the implementation of an application that allows the control of the attendance and the evaluation of students and teachers, as well as publicize its structure, main characteristics and its operation in general. To verify the good operation and the quality of the web application to be developed were tested as black box, customer acceptance, performance tests and verification of software quality.
