dc.description.abstractNowadays team formation has become a very active research topic and it is recognized as a key process for the success of organizations. This article describes a model or multiple team formation that, unlike existing models, it integrates a diversity of factors, both individual and collective, and therefore it can be used in various contexts. The model includes the following factors: competences, workload, cost of communication in the team, incompatibility between members, cost of working at a distance, interest in playing the role, interest in working in the team and balance of psychological characteristics in the team. The model responds to a combinatorial optimization problem, for that reason to solve the problem it is used a library of classes of meta–heuristic algorithms. To demonstrate the applicability of the model, the results of using the model in the formation of student teams are presented.en_US
