Sistema de Gestión de la información operativa para el grupo Empresarial Construcciones Granma

Abstract

El Sistema de Gestión de la información operativa (GCIO SYS) es una herramienta que surge a partir de la necesidad de la Empresa de Construcción de Granma de incorporar un sistema informático que sea capaz de gestionar la información a los trabajadores del área y directivos del Grupo de Control de la Información Operativa, de manera que se eliminen las principales deficiencias con las que cuenta la entidad: perdida de información relevante, se invierte demasiado tiempo para notificar a diferentes directivos y la búsqueda de información resulta lenta, garantizando un mejor control y funcionamiento de los principales procesos que se desarrollan en el área. El desarrollo del sistema informático estuvo guiado por la metodología Extreme Programming (XP). Para la implementación del sistema se utilizó como marco de trabajo PrimeFaces 5.2 e Hibernate 3.2.0, como lenguaje del lado del servidor Java y del lado del cliente HTML 5, CSS3 y JavaScript, como Entorno de Desarrollo Integrado Eclipse 4.0, servidor de aplicaciones web Apache Tomcat 8.0. Se utilizó la herramienta Embarcadero ER/Studio 8.0 para la modelación de la base de datos del sistema, MySQL 5.6.12 como gestor de la misma y como administrador el phpMyAdmin 4.0.4. La validación del sistema se realizó mediante la ejecución de pruebas que permitieron identificar defectos, que al ser corregidos; incrementan la calidad y aceptación del producto.

The Operative Information Management System (GCIO SYS) is a tool that arises from the need of the Construction Company of Granma to incorporate a computer system that is capable of managing the information to the area workers and managers of the Group of Operational Information Control, in order to eliminate the main deficiencies that the entity has: loss of relevant information, too much time is spent to notify different managers and the search for information is slow, ensuring better control and operation of the main processes that are developed in the area. The development of the informatics system was guided by the Extreme Programming methodology. For the implementation of the system, was used the frameworks PrimeFaces 5.2 and Hibernate 3.2.0, as server side language was choice Java and client side HTML 5, CSS3 y JavaScript, the Integrated Development Environment Eclipse. For the system database model was used Embarcadero ER/Studio, the Web Applications Servers Apache Tomcat 8.0, to and MySQL 5.6.12 as anagement. Acceptation tests were applied to the system, they offered satisfactory results which proved the software quality showing a great success by the managers of the enterprise and by the specialists who will work directly with the product.
